Cristiano Ronaldo has reduced his suspension to 29 days' suspension and a reduced fine of $285 for exiting Portugal's camp prematurely. Initially, he demanded an unmitigated penalty but later attempted to shorten it. The disciplinary action resulted from a conflict with coach Jesus. Ronaldo asked for punishment 'without mitigation' initially then tried to cut it. The fine and suspension were awarded due to abandoning the training session.
